Sin City oasis
A mixture of contemporary architecture and vintage furniture completes this home built for entertaining for a couple that has resided in Las Vegas most of their lives.
Most apartments in NYC are smaller than this walk-in closet… with their collection of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage adding a layer of texture to this ultra-modern space. We always recommend changing hangers out to have them all the same. This makes a huge difference with how the clothing fits and lays next to each other properly, and it’s visually appealing .
Mixing vintage and modern…
The home was designed and built as a glass, steel and stone structure reflecting many of the colors and materials of the surrounding desert. But when styling the interior, we wanted to create a fantastic mix of modern art, vintage furniture as well as an extensive collection of found objects from the couples many travels layered with many art books.
Designed for entertaining
Entertaining is not only part of this couples work, but they have a passion for cooking as well. I worked closely with them to ensure the kitchen and butler pantry was not only aesthetically pleasing but functional as well. And the wet bar is clearly the perfect location for cocktails but also featured their collection of vintage glassware beautifully.
